about
Since the release of Home Life I have written quite some pieces and released very little. The last couple of days I've felt like my brain's going to burst with all the projects that haven't been finished colliding with the new, incoming ones. For a while I was convinced that in this endless storm of modern music that only our greatest works are worth thrusting into the mix. But, frankly, to hell with it! To hell with being so precious with creation. Marking the beginning of a great purging of art in order to make room for more is Mechanical Rag. I don't want it anymore. Free me! This album is basically a live composite of journal musings improvised over some musical ideas in front of a single microphone in one short sitting.
Valley Soul another act from the Monterey Bay. I've had the pleasure of playing with them many times. This is their debut EP- funky grooves, tight harmonies... It's all good! Keep an eye out for em. Vincent Randazzo
There's a shortage of real honest-to-dog folksters in our day and age. Jordan Smart is one of them. Here is some music you can believe recorded live at the fantastic Henry Miller Library in Big Sur. Vincent Randazzo
Chris Scharb is a producer an musician. Psychic Temple is one of the many projects he is affiliated with. III is recorded mostly live at BIG EGO Studio and has some killer musicians on board. Dig it. Vincent Randazzo
Babehoven returns with another record of indie folk songs about love, connection, and the fragility of human relationships. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 24, 2024
